The Päijät-Häme Museum of Aviation

Situated at the Lahti-Vesivehmaa airfield, the Päijät-Häme Museum of Aviation displays 17 aircraft from the 1920s to the 2000s, as well as numerous parts of different aircraft. On show, for example, is the only intact Blackburn Ripon II F marine reconnaissance plane in the world. New books on aviation and related material are on sale at the museum, where also various events are staged.
The airfield was founded in 1940-1941 and it is still in civilian and training use.
The museum is maintained by the Lahden Ilmasilta (Lahti Air Bridge) association
