The Finnish Museum of Military Music

The Finnish Museum of Military Music operates in a barracks building from 1910-1914. Formerly in residential and warehouse use, the building now presents the history of military music in Finland with exhibits of objects, audio samples and photographs. Alongside the permanent exhibition, the museum stages seasonal exhibitions on different themes. Talks and lectures are also given at the museum and in the summer months there are open-air concerts roughly twice a month in the courtyard area.

Located next to each other, the Museum of Military Music and the Museum of Military Medicine are an interesting attraction in a unique barracks environment.
