Lahti Historical Museum

Lahti Historical Museum at the Lahti Manor is closed from 2nd of September 2018 due to renovation work.

During the renovation work we will renew our exhibitions. The Historical Museum will be opened with a new permanent exhibition in 2021.

Lahti City Museum collects, maintains and exhibits cultural historical, natural historical and art collections deposited in it. Lahti Historical Museum is also the regional museum of the Päijät-Häme district and Lahti Art Museum is a regional art museum in the Päijät-Häme district.


High-Flying Finns– photographic exhibition

The Ski Museum’s photographic exhibition is just opened. It illuminates the history of ski jumping and offers you the opportunity to experience the excitement of competitions from the climb up the hill to standing on the podium.

Lahti signs a rental agreement for LAD

The new owner of Malski is the real estate company Kielo, with whom the City of Lahti has signed a 20-year rental agreement. The change of ownership and signing of the rental agreement enable the implementation of Malski’s development plans.
